Amma

Q: "Mother, I see no improvement as a result of my sadhana (spiritual practice). What should I do?"
Amma: "Child, don't worry. Improvement will come. It is enough if you try. While the airplane is flying across the sky, we will not feel that it is moving but once we reach our destination, we understand that we have been traveling all along. Likewise, we are progressing but it is too subtle for us to understand. After reaching the Goal, everything will become clear, Concentration is required. One who has concentration can conquer the entire world."

"The honeybee looks for honey wherever it goes. Nothing else can attract it. But a common fly prefers to stick to excrement even in a rose garden. Our minds are like common flies. That has to change by developing a mind that seeks only the good in everything, just like the honeybee that seeks only the honey wherever it goes."
